Digital cinema:

Digital cinema refers to the use of digital technology to make, distribute or project motion pictures as opposed to the historical use of motion picture film. A movie can be distributed via hard drives, the Internet, dedicated satellite links or optical disks such as DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.The course contains the full technology on how to make a digital cinema.

SECOND SEMESTER :
Class : Maximum 4 days in a week
Duration of Classes:
(Theory : 2:00 hrs   Practical : 4:00)

SUBJECT :
1. History of Cinema.         
2. Screen play writing Practice.
 3.Film language  (advance).
4. Cinema session.
5. Know your Digital Format.
6. Shooting practical 

Total approx 98 classes in Second Six months.

FIRST SEMESTER :
Class : Maximum 4 days in a week
Duration of Classes:
(Theory : 2:00 hrs   Practical : 4:00)

SUBJECT :
1. Introduction to Film Making.
2. Film Language & Vocabulary.
3. Elements of Screen Play Writing.
4. Elements of Photography.
5. Elements of Editing.
6. Directorial Practice (Theory)
7. Directorial Practice on floor (Shooting Practical)
8. Cinema Session (Film screening& analysis)

Total approx 98 classes in First Six months.
1. Directorial Practice on Floor – 48 classes.
2. Cinema Session – 2 days in a month.
3. Theory - 72  classes.

THIRD SEMESTER:  
Class : Maximum 4 days in a week
Duration of Classes:
(Theory : 2:00 hrs   Practical : 4:00)

Subject :-
1. Work on script writing for the feature film.
      (Duration of the film maximum 100 minutes).
 2. Know about non-fiction.
 3. One to five minutes project work on out door shooting. (Kolkata bassed)
 4. Five days whole day workshop session on shooting. (out of kolkata)
 5. Technique of song picturisation (practical).
 6. Hall project work Editing with the Editor.
 7. Use of Music/ C (Theory).
 8. Use of Music/ Ambiance (Practical).
 9. Theory of Art direction.
 10. Make a set (practical).
 11. Knowledge of make-up (practical).
 12. Budget break down/ scheduling process.
 13. Continuety sheet maintaining.
 14. Ready for shoot for the feature film.
Practical classes:- Short project shoot 12 days.
                                  Whole day workshop 5 days.
                                  Song picturisation 5 days.
                                  Edit with Editor 22 days.
                                  Use of Music / Ambiance

                                  5 days.
                                  Set setting 5 days.
