Md Sahidur Rahaman is an Indian film actor who grew up in Bengal. He studied at Jaipuria College in the evening section. He attended the National Institute of Film and Fine Arts in Bhowanipore. He joined various theatre groups such as Falguni Chattopadhyay’s Lokokrishti. He worked in short films like ‘Still Voices’ in 2010 and ‘Villari’ in 2013. The talented actor met success in the movie ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ in 2013, which was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It is a story on the life of Milkha Singh, an Indian athlete who was a national champion runner and an Olympian and starred Farhan Akhtar in the lead role.
Sahidur had also acted in 'Kaabil' as Wasim in 2017, directed by Sanjay Gupta and written by Vijay Kumar Mishra. It features Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. He had also done the movie 'Kaun Kitney Paani Mein' in 2015. He appeared in the popular Amazon Prime web series 'Made In Heaven' and 'B.C. Baal' in the year 2019.
He played the antagonist in the movie ‘Batla House,’ written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Nikkhil Advani. The film stars John Abraham opposite Mrunal Thakur. Sahidur played the role of Dilshad Ahmed in this movie. Rahaman also acted in ‘The Last Koan’ in 2019, a feature film for which he won the Best Actor award in the Chelsea Film Festival. He worked in ‘Kidnap,’ a Bengali film directed by Raja Chanda in 2019.
